Principal Investigator/Project Manager with extensive writing and management experience needed in Dallas, TX. Cultural resources management experience, knowledge of the Section 106 process and Memorandum of Agreement compliance, prior experience with Native American consultation, objective and fair treatment of all interested parties, and an ability to manage a multi-firm team are essential characteristics of the successful candidate. Demonstrated experience in directing the production of quality reports, managing multiple projects, managing personnel, and budgeting is essential. Candidate should possess excellent archeological research skills and a track record of successful management of projects. Prior regional experience on the East Coast or in the Southeast is preferred. Candidates must minimally have an M.A. degree in Anthropology, or a closely related field, 8-10 years of work experience, and five-seven years of experience as a Principal Investigator. Compensation package will be commensurate with experience.

What Lies Beneath? Native American Tribes of the Boise, Idaho Archaeological Record And a Site in the Boise Foothills Tests have confirmed the dates and the fact that the artifacts, found in the Boise foothills near the Table Rock plateau, came from the same source of obsidian as the Squaw/Timber Butte location, east of Payette and North from Boise. This Squaw/Timber Butte location is known as a major prehistoric source of obsidian glass in eastern Idaho prehistory. ( A re-cap of the original report and research below.)
