Job Description

Environmental firm seeking candidate to fill position as Historic Preservation Support on Fort Sill , OK . Candidate must have demonstrated experience with state and federal cultural resource requirements, specifically Section 106 NHPA and 36 CFR Part 800. Candidate responsibilities include assisting in writing general and technical correspondence, technical briefings, standard operating procedures, reports of field investigations, and knowledge of historic preservation plans, identification and National Register evaluations; participate at meetings, conferences and public hearings related to historic preservation; provide other cultural resources technical assistance and consultation as needed.



Must have strong written communication skills and Microsoft Office Suite skills. Experience in database environments preferred. Knowledge of federal and state cultural resource laws and regulations also required. Working knowledge and experience with U.S. Army is a plus. Degree in Archeology, History, Arch History, Historic Building , or closely related degree and/or resource management field p referred. Duties require some fieldwork in varying weather conditions. Must be a US citizen, able to pass a security check, and hold a valid drivers license. Please include salary history with resume. We are an EOE.
