Montgomery Archaeological Consultants Inc. (MOAC) is currently hiring crew leaders and field technicians starting in May 2008 to be stationed at our Vernal, Utah field office. MOAC is a medium sized cultural resource consulting firm that has experience for over 20 years. BS/BA or MS/MA in anthropology or related field or demonstrate considerable experience in field techniques, data recording, mapping and surveying. Responsibilities include intensive survey, recordation and site testing. Crew leaders must provide references related to supervision experience. Must be able to walk 5 to 7 miles a day across various types of terrain carrying necessary gear. Employees will acquire at least 40 hrs a week and the schedule is 10 days on and 4 days off. Wage is $13.00 and $16.00 depending on experience/education. Per diem is $35.00 a day and single occupancy accommodations are provided. These positions have the potential for becoming permanent staff positions with additional benefits. Bonus paid if you stay until end of the field season (late November or December).
